On stage at Propagate! 2024: automation in plant breeding

Colleague Henk-Jan van Ooijen had the pleasure of speaking at Propagate!, the leading event for plant breeders worldwide. He introduced an innovation that will change the industry-the ISO High Speed Grafter, the world's first fully automated grafting machine!
 
With more than 10 billion plants grafted annually, this labor-intensive process depends on precision, while qualified personnel are increasingly scarce. Combined with stricter regulations in the horticultural industry, the demand for resistant plants is greater than ever.
 
The ISO High Speed Grafter provides an answer to these challenges. Using advanced Vision AI technology and robotics, the machine can graft up to 4,000 plants per hour, with consistent quality and higher yields.
